The Challenge 

In this recent project, we helped our client switch up their workplace.

We were only too excited to help our client find a premium glass partitioning solution that made their workplace stand out from the crowd and changed the way their team experienced work, for the better.

The scope of the project involved the supply and fit of multiple glass partitions across our client’s workplace – with one special, high tech addition that we can’t wait to show you..

The Solution

Following a detailed site visit and consultation, we agreed with our client on the glazed partitioning system that best met their vision.

Our team first set out by installing multiple banded glass partitions. This included some tricky installation challenges such as a design that alternated between office partitioning and our safety toughened glass partition walls. This was a unique way to zone office areas.

Our banded glass partitioning is a client favourite, loved for its distinct appearance. We offer the framework in a variety of colours, with our most popular being the sleek black banding (RAL 9005) that our client selected for this project.

We added both block timber doors and glass doors with silver lever latch locks to our client’s glass offices. Some of these glass doors continued the black banded for a seamless appearance, adding a smart, modern twist.

Next, the showstopper.

We fitted switchable glass partitioning into the client’s main office area. Also known as smart glass, our client could then easily transition from an open space to a private workplace at the touch of a button!

This premium glass partitioning solution uses a thin layer of liquid crystal molecules that switch between an opaque and clear setting with a remote control.

Since we completed the project, our client has been enjoying the best of both worlds, with the flexibility to alternate between a private meeting room and a collaborative workplace on demand.
