The Challenge

The client got in touch with Glass Partitioning UK in need of a high end partitioning solution to transform their office and they way their team work. During the initial site survey’s and briefs, we established the client’s vision of a timber door that was to be installed along with the glass partition.

The brief was to create a glass meeting room within the client’s workspace. The glass partitions needed to create a stylish aesthetic that complemented the building’s existing interiors and improve the acoustic performance.

The Solution

For this project, we installed double glazed glass partitioning. The glazed partitioning improved the sound insulation in the client’s workplace, providing up to 40dB of noise protection. With this acoustic rating, loud speech can be heard through the glass partitions, but is hard to interpret. This made it the perfect solution for the client’s glass meeting room and private area.

We offer the option to add integrated blinds with our double glazed partitions. This fits in between the two glass panes, giving you privacy for when meetings are needed whilst keeping in line with a clean and minimalist look. What’s more, being secured in between the glass sheets removes the hassle of dealing with tangled and dusty blinds!

At Glass Partitioning UK, we also install a wide range of glass door options, including wooden doors. In this project, we installed a timber door to match the building’s pre-existing installation that the client wanted to preserve when they moved into the office. The contrast between natural materials and glass created a contemporary appearance – the finishing touches to our client’s glass partitioning project.
