In this care home facility, we installed a glass partition across the middle of their conservatory so that visitors can now enter safely.
We’ve all been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways. For a large portion of us however, Coronavirus has impacted the way we interact with our family and friends. Perhaps the most impacted by this is vulnerable individuals such as the elderly, who may begin to feel isolated without regular human interaction with their loved ones.
The risk of infection when visitors come to care homes means that protective measures are needed. Once correctly put in place, family members and friends could visit residents safely and boost general morale within the establishment.
Having noted the impact of isolation on their residents, we helped this care home facility to create a safe space within their premises. In order to do this, we installed glass partitioning across the middle of their conservatory – this in itself posed many challenged for our team, including fixing the glass panes to the conservatory glass. Luckily, thanks to our team’s experience and skills, we were able to carry out this glass partitioning installation without any problems.
Once the project was finished, visitors could enter the care home using the door form the outside. This prevented them from entering the care home building at all and increasing the risk of the spread of disease.
