Framed Glass Partitioning | Buckinghamshire

The Challenge

Our client was looking for a reliable company to help with their large glass partitioning project. The plan used glass walls to create a glass meeting room, glass boardroom and divide two glass bar areas. The work the client required needed to go beyond a simple installation service, with a skilled team that could transform their workspace into a professional office.

The Solution

For this project, we installed banded glass partitioning using safety toughened glass. This particular type of partitioning uses an aluminium framework that runs around the perimeter and intersecting bars across the glass panes. When used in the workplace, a banded style of glass partitioning can create an industrial look that is popular amongst creative industries, giving offices a unique and professional appearance.

In our client’s new glass meeting room, we also installed a full height glass pivot door that was framed to match the rest of the banded partitioning. This area had an existing timber frame that was removed in order for the glazing to be installed against the wall. In the glass boardroom, we replaced old panels and stud walls by removing four existing panels of glazing, as well as any excess materials on the wall and built two new stud walls in its place.
