Frosted glass partitions are a great way to maximise a bright space with additional privacy. Just check out this case study!
Our client felt their workforce could benefit from an additional work space. This area would provide a distraction-free room for private meetings, video calls and a general break-out room where staff could concentrate on a particular task.
The project involved dividing an existing office, so the team were keen on installing a partitioning solution that maximised space, as well as suited their existing interior scheme.
Glass partitions can divide workspaces with little compromise to room size. By encouraging the reach of light, you can create the illusion of maximised space. Unlike alternative partitions, they also won’t isolate the area from the rest of the office!
At Glass Partitioning UK, we work around your business. Working closely with our client, we ensured the glass partitioning installation was scheduled at the most convenient time for their workforce, as well as taking care to cause minimal disruption to the workplace.
With an installation date decided, our experienced fitters headed to site to get to work. We began by fixing black tracks to the office flooring and ceiling. The tracking was scaled to seamlessly fit around existing building features such as the ceiling details and existing trunking that ran across the walls.
We then installed multiple single glazed glass partitions to form our client’s new glass office. To increase privacy, we applied a frosted manifestation across the glass walls. This band ensured light could still flow in, but provided an element of visual privacy for team members.
Once completed, the client was excited to hold a meeting in their new, modern glass office.
