The modern world has become progressively eco-conscious. Climate care impacts every level of consumerism, with over â…” of consumers preferring brands who actively take responsibility and address environmental issues.
At Glass Partitioning UK, we’re determined to positively contribute to the imperative demand for sustainability, all while encouraging our customers to make informed, eco-friendly choices. As part of this, we’ve committed to furthering our impact on the environment by donating a portion of our sales to Moor Trees, an independent charity who aim to repopulate the Devonshire countryside with native trees.
We encourage our customers to build with glass as a sustainable alternative to other partitioning materials. As an abundant, raw material, glass is endlessly recyclable – meaning it can be recycled in closed loop over and over again. In fact, the amount of solid waste produced by the glass industries during manufacturing is extremely low, with nearly all waste glass being returned to furnaces to serve as raw material.
There are many ways glass can help provide a clearer vision to a greener environment, including:
At Glass Partitioning UK, we wanted to go one step further. We’ve teamed up with Moor Trees and their plant a tree scheme to help contribute to a sustainable future..
Glass partitions clearly have many environmental benefits, however we wanted to challenge our sustainability further. We’ve partnered with Moor Trees for their plant a tree scheme, where we also donate a portion of our sales to support their amazing work. As a customer, this means you can order your new glass office whilst benefiting our climate.
In their lifetime, one tree can absorb up to 1.5 tonnes of carbon. In London alone, trees remove 2.4 million tonnes of air pollution, including CO2, dust and other gaseous toxins. With continued momentum and support, tree planting is a fantastic way to positively impact the environment and our own livelihoods. Not only do trees improve air quality, they also provide essential green space for communities to explore, nurture and learn about ecology and eco-initiatives.
